In the spring of 2022, I started my college journey at SKC.  I started out doing well 和 then life happened. My name is 彼得Aimsback.  I am 32 years old, 和 a non-traditional student.   I am in the Chemical Dependency 咨询 program. 申请TRIO SSS

TRIO SSS资格要求:参与者必须是SKC录取的学生，并且至少满足其中一个要求, 最好是两个, of the following three requirements:

  • Income eligible as defined by the U.S. Department of 教育
  • 来自父母或监护人都没有学士学位的家庭
  • 有残疾记录并在SKC的校园残疾服务中心注册.

如何申请

第一步

Students must fill out the SSS程序  在SKC注册时. This will determine eligibility 和 can take up to two weeks.

对于本年度，我们需要财务需求分析或从2020年开始的收入证明.

第二步

录取后，学校将通过电子邮件向学生发送一封信，学生需要填写一份申请表 验证表单 和 SSS Personal Success Plan.

Department of 教育 Requirements: 

  1. A student must be in their first 2 years of post-secondary education
  2. Must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant
  3. Unmet need is not less than the award amount.

 SKC TRIO Student Support 服务s Requirements:

  • Completed Grant Aid application 和 essay
  • 验证表单 & Personal Success Plan completed for 2023-24 SY
  • 参加 两个 由Chantel Starblanket和/或Sunshine Gaither主办的秋季或冬季工作坊
  • Financial Needs Analysis for Spring Quarter. 必须有未满足的需求(在上课的第一周从财政援助办公室获得打印件)
